Executive Coaching

What is Executive Coaching?

Executive coaching involves a series of one-on-one interactions between a manager or executive and an external coach.

My own approach to Executive Coaching is to:

  • equip my clients with the knowledge and opportunities they need to develop themselves and become more effective.

  • heighten self-awareness.

  • improve self-regulation.

  • develop higher levels of empathy.

  • boost cognition at work.

  • increase levels of motivation.

  • teach better social skills.

  • improve leadership abilities.

  • serve as a compass.

  • close knowledge gaps.

  • unlock self-imposed limits (‘limiting beliefs’).

  • offer unbiased third-party insight.

  • hold clients accountable.

  • teach new habits and ideas.

  • help navigate challenges and meet goals.

  • pave the way for success.

  • keep clients on the right track.

Ryan Whitworth, Regional Director, Leumi ABL

"Stress and poor work life balance were issues I was facing when I started working with Alan. He's bloody wonderful. He has helped me be clear and consistent for what is relevant; to perform better with less stress. He's given me a really good balance of working as a human being in business. He paints a picture of structure and you focus on the right message and it will pay dividends for you."

Client Story

Getting to the next stage

The CEO of a leading professional services company needed support to get to the next stage. I coached and advised the CEO to create a new strategy, and a revised organisation structure to support the strategy. The company went on to double its turnover and profits over the subsequent period.
